Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the rules and expectations for all users of the kgomoID platform to ensure a secure and trusted livestock ecosystem.
1. Prohibited Activities
Users are strictly prohibited from engaging in the following activities:
Fraudulent Data Submission
Registering cattle that do not belong to you or using false BAITS identifiers.
Biometric Tampering
Attempting to deceive the muzzle matching engine with manipulated or synthetic photos.
Unauthorized Access
Attempting to bypass RLS policies or accessing data outside of your authorized organization.
System Abuse
Excessive API requests, reverse engineering, or automated scraping of platform data.
2. User Responsibilities
As a user of kgomoID, you agree to:
- Maintain Credential Security: You are responsible for any actions taken under your account.
- Verify Identifiers: Ensure all BAITS IDs and brand marks match physical animal identifiers during registration.
- Report Misuse: Notify kgomoID support immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or biometric fraud.
3. Police & Government Conduct
Authorized government users (Police, Veterinary Officers) must use the platform strictly for official duty. Any use of the platform for personal surveillance or outside of authorized livestock verification protocols is a violation of this policy and may be reported to relevant authorities.
4. Enforcement
Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, revocation of AI credits, and notification to law enforcement agencies in Botswana where illegal activity is suspected.
