Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing the kgomoID platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and kgomoID regarding your use of the livestock identity and security platform.
2. Eligibility & Account Creation
- Farmers: Must provide accurate Omang ID, phone number, and BAITS identifiers.
- Police/Government: Access is strictly invitation-only and managed by the System Administrator. Self-registration for government roles is prohibited.
- Invitations: Organization membership is enforced via secure tokens. Users must not spoof identities when accepting invitations.
3. Organization Ownership & Roles
The individual who creates a Farmer Organization is the "Owner". Owners are responsible for the actions of their invited Managers, Workers, and Viewers. In Police Organizations, the Station Commander serves as the primary governing authority.
4. AI Verification Disclaimer
AI & Biometric Accuracy
kgomoID utilizes AI biometric matching to assist in cattle identification. While our algorithms are highly accurate, AI results are provided as an assistive tool only. Official ownership verification must always be confirmed through valid BAITS documentation and customary court/police procedures where a dispute exists.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit fraudulent livestock or biometric data.
- Circumvent Row Level Security (RLS) or encryption measures.
- Use the platform for any illegal activities under Botswana law.
- Reverse engineer the biometric matching engine.
6. Subscription & Billing
Farmer Organizations are subject to the 5-tier pricing model (Trial, Starter, Community, Commercial, Ranch Elite). Subscriptions grant access to AI credits. Failure to maintain an active subscription or credit balance may result in the suspension of AI features.
7. Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or engage in fraudulent biometric submissions. System Administrators may suspend organizations at their sole discretion for platform security.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Botswana law, kgomoID is not liable for any loss of livestock, data, or profits resulting from your use of the platform or reliance on AI verification results.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Botswana. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Botswana.
